Today officially starts our road trip and we could not be more excited!
Melanie, my fellow Road Tripper, and I met at JFK Airport for our flight this morning. Both of us being city gals, love the freedom of escaping the city - but neither of us has done a long road trip before. We will be driving over 3,000 miles!
After the 6-hour cross country flight, Melanie and I landed in LA this afternoon and picked up our hot lil' blue Subaru Impreza! We were thrilled to find that the car is really comfortable and has a great satellite radio system...considering it will be our home away from home for the next 3 weeks. We played around with the handy navigational system and plugged in our favorite radio stations and now we're ready to hit the road!
